David, a Senior Advisor at Urban Futures, is a recognized authority on the impact of demographics on the North American and international consumer landscape.  David's main focus at Urban Futures is on population and economic change and the resulting implications for business and society.  His writing and presentations address such timely issues as understanding changing consumer markets, the shifting nature of work, the process of urban and metropolitan change, and the current state of health care. 

David is the global mobility consul for the Washington DC based international Employee Relocation Council and a member of the British Columbia Government Economic Forecast Council.  His academic career spans four decades, and includes teaching and lecturing at both Canadian and international universities.  He is the author of many reports, articles and books addressing regional economics, consumer behaviour and market trends, health care, employment trends, and the operation of real estate markets.
